# Manage your subscription

> How to upgrade, change or cancel your plan and manage billing.

This page shows how to manage your subscription: change plans, update billing, view invoices, and cancel or reactivate. Everything lives in one place, in **Preferences -> Billing**.

## View your current plan

    Click your avatar and select **Preferences**.

    Open the **Billing** tab.
  </Step>

  <Step title="See the details">
    See your current plan, price, billing interval (monthly or yearly), and the features included. If your subscription is active, you'll also see the next renewal date.

## Change or upgrade your plan

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open Preferences -> Billing">
    In the **Billing** tab, click **Change plan** (on the free or trial plans, the button reads **Upgrade**).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Compare the options">
    Compare the available plans and intervals (monthly or yearly).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Review the summary">
    Before confirming, you'll see an order summary with the total due today and the date and amount of your next renewal.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Confirm the change">
    Accept the terms and confirm. The change takes effect immediately.
  </Step>

<Note>
  Confirming a paid plan change requires a payment method on file. If you don't have one yet, you can add it right from the change screen.

## Manage your payment method

On paid plans, the **Billing** tab shows your card on file (brand and last four digits).

    In the **Payment method** section, click **Update** (or **Add**, if you don't have one yet).

  <Step title="Enter the new details">
    You can pay by card or, when available on your device, with Apple Pay or Google Pay.

<Warning>
  If a payment fails, your subscription is marked as past due and a notice appears in the **Billing** tab. Update your payment method to bring it back into good standing.

## Billing details (NIF)

On paid plans you can add your tax number (NIF) so it appears on your invoices.

    In the **Billing details** section, enter your NIF (nine digits).

  The NIF is used only for issuing your subscription invoices.

## Invoices

All your subscription invoices are available in the **Billing** tab.

    Scroll down to the invoice list.

  <Step title="Open the invoice">
    Each row shows the date, document number, total, and status. Click **View** to open the PDF.
  </Step>

<Tip>
  Right after a payment, the certified invoice can take a moment to be issued. During that window the row shows as pending; refresh the page after a few minutes.

## Cancel your subscription

<Steps>

    In the cancellation section, click **Cancel**.

  <Step title="Choose the cancellation reason">
    Select the reason for canceling (required) and, if you like, leave a comment. It helps the team improve.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Confirm">
    Review what you'll lose access to and the date your subscription stays active until, then confirm.
  </Step>

<Note>
  After canceling, your subscription stays active until the end of the period you already paid for. Your data remains saved.
</Note>

## Reactivate before the period ends

If you canceled but changed your mind, you can reactivate before the subscription ends.

    When your subscription is scheduled to cancel, a **Reactivate** button appears. Click it.

  <Step title="Or use the email link">
    You can also reactivate through the link sent by email.
  </Step>

  Reactivating before the period ends keeps your current price and any discount attached to it. To see what changes if you subscribe again after that period, see [Plans and pricing](/en/account/plans-and-pricing).

## Right of withdrawal

You have the statutory right to withdraw from your subscription within 14 days of subscribing, as provided by law. To exercise it, contact support through **Send feedback** in the user menu, or describe your request in the AI chat, which forwards it for you.
