This page helps you unblock connecting an AI assistant to guito when something goes wrong: the connector doesn’t appear, sign-in fails, or your plan doesn’t cover the action you asked for. Find your symptom below and follow the fix. For the full setup steps, see Connect your assistant.

Common issues

Make sure you copied the connection URL exactly as shown and pasted it into your client’s custom connector field:

After pasting the URL, you still need to turn guito on inside the conversation: in Claude, open the connectors menu and enable guito; in ChatGPT, open Tools and enable guito. If the connector still doesn’t respond, remove it and add it again, repeating the setup steps.
When you connect, a browser window opens so you can sign in to guito and authorize access over OAuth. If that window doesn’t open or authorization doesn’t complete:

Use your guito account credentials in the window that opens. Access is authorized for your own account.

Authorize access

Approve the access request when the client shows it.

Re-authorize if needed

You can re-authorize at any time by repeating the connection steps in your client.
Your AI client reaches only your own data and never your credentials. Learn more in Security and privacy.
By default, the assistant queries and analyzes your data. Logging or creating entries requires the guito Plus plan.Some clients also ask you to grant write access the first time, or have a read-only setting of their own: approve the action when the client prompts you, and check the connector’s permissions in your client if writes stay blocked.
Any action that changes your records always asks for your confirmation before it saves. Nothing is modified without your approval.
The Gemini app does not yet allow custom MCP connectors. For now, use Claude, ChatGPT or another MCP-compatible client, such as Claude Code, Cursor or VS Code.
AI assistants are available on the Plus plan. If you’re not on Plus yet, see the options in Plans and pricing. You have 14 days to exercise your right of withdrawal after subscribing.
Remove the guito connector in your AI client. You can re-authorize at any time by repeating the setup steps.
