You authorize access at your own bank’s portal, with your usual credentials, never inside guito. Access is read-only: guito reads your account balances, your transaction history, and the account holder name and IBAN, but can never move money or touch your funds.

2
Add an account
In the accounts section, click Add.
3
Choose your bank
Search for and select your bank from the list.
4
Authenticate at your bank's portal
You’ll be redirected to your bank’s portal. Sign in with your usual banking credentials.
5

6
Select the accounts to sync
Select the accounts you want to sync and confirm to complete the connection.
See your balance appear
After you confirm, your account shows up in the list with its balance, and your transactions are already named, categorized, and matched to a merchant. That’s it, your first bank is connected. From now on, it syncs automatically, with nothing for you to do.Next steps
