Valuations are always manual: guito does not fetch market prices for these assets. Only the most recent valuation feeds your net worth, and values in another currency are converted to euros. If you add a valuation on a date that already has one, guito offers to replace it. The full valuation history is kept so you can track how the value changes.
Add notes to an asset
You can save a personal note on an asset, for example to remember a vehicle’s plate or an item’s serial number.1

When you add an asset, or edit an existing one, open its dialog.
2
Write the note
In the Notes field, write what you want to remember.
3
Save
Confirm. The note shows in the Notes section of the asset’s page.
Link a mortgage
If you bought a property with a loan and also track that loan as a credit in guito, you can link the two. The property’s detail page then shows the down payment, the financed amount, and your loan-to-value and equity, so you can see the property’s real contribution to your net worth.Archive and unarchive assets
