This page shows how to record and manage your stock, ETF and fund positions in guito. There’s no “create portfolio” step: your portfolio is built as you record transactions, and market value and gains or losses are calculated from quotes. Open the section from Investments in the sidebar (route /investments).

Record a buy or sell

Every position starts from a transaction. To record a buy or sell:
1

Open the Investments section

Click Investments in the sidebar.
2

Add a transaction

Click Add. If you don’t have any positions yet, use the + button to record your first transaction.
3

Search for the asset

Type the name or symbol in the search box. Stocks, ETFs, funds, crypto and savings certificates all appear together in the same results, so you don’t have to pick the asset type in advance.
4

Fill in the form

Select the asset and enter:
  • Operation: buy or sell
  • Date: the transaction date
  • Quantity: number of units
  • Unit price: price per unit
  • Fee: (optional) brokerage costs
5

Confirm

You can add several transactions of different types to the same batch before confirming. When everything is correct, confirm to save.
Quotes are updated automatically. A single batch can mix stocks, crypto and savings certificates, each with its own form rules.
PPR plans and funds (including unit-linked funds) are tracked exactly like stocks and ETFs: search for the product in the same search box and record the transaction. Like the rest of your portfolio, they’re part of the paid plan.

View a position’s details

Click a position in the list to open its details page (route /investments/[productId]), organized into stacked sections:
  • Summary: market value, gains or losses and an evolution chart. The time range is controlled by the date selector in the header.
  • Transactions: the full history of buys and sells, with multi-select to delete in bulk.
To return to the list, use your browser’s back button or the sidebar.

Edit a transaction

1

Open the position

In Investments, click the position and scroll down to the Transactions section.
2

Select the transaction

Click the transaction you want to edit.
3

Change the fields

Adjust the date, quantity, price or fee.
4

Save

Confirm to save your changes.
You can’t change the operation type (buy or sell). If you need to correct it, delete the transaction and create a new one.

Delete transactions

1

Open the position

In Investments, click the position and scroll down to the Transactions section.
2

Select the transactions

Click the checkboxes of the transactions you want to delete.
3

Delete

Click the Delete button that appears and confirm.
Deleting all of a position’s transactions removes it from the portfolio.
If you can’t find the fund, ETF or PPR you’re looking for, you can suggest adding it directly from search.
1

Search for the product

In Investments, click Add and search for the product.
2

Open the suggestion

The Suggest adding this product option appears at the bottom of the results list when there are results, and prominently when there are none.
3

Confirm the details

The name is pre-filled. If you know it, enter the ISIN (it’s on your statement).
4

Send the suggestion

Send it to let us know.
With a valid ISIN for a fund or ETF, the product is added on the spot and you can record it right away. Without an ISIN (for example, a PPR with no public ISIN), we log the suggestion and email you when the product becomes available. You can also suggest a product through the assistant: if it can’t find it, it asks you for the ISIN and handles the suggestion.
Providing the ISIN helps guito match the asset to the right product and avoids confusing different products that share the same symbol.

Multiple portfolios

You can keep separate portfolios, for example to distinguish personal investments from family ones, or different strategies. Each portfolio has its own assets, accounts and independent settings.
1

Open the portfolio selector

Click the portfolio selector at the top of the page.
2

Switch or create

To switch, pick the portfolio you want from the list. To create one, click Create portfolio.
3

Name it and confirm

Give the new portfolio a name and confirm.
Multiple portfolios may require a paid plan.

Savings certificates

Track your savings certificates alongside the rest of your portfolio.

Crypto

Record and track cryptocurrency positions.
