Everything in one place
Instead of jumping between several banks, brokers, and spreadsheets, guito aggregates it all:Accounts
Bank accounts (via automatic sync or manual) plus Portuguese savings certificates (Certificados de Aforro).
Investments
A portfolio of stocks, ETFs, and funds, with market value and gains calculated automatically.
Property
Real estate, vehicles, jewelry, collectibles, and other assets.
Credits
Mortgages, personal loans, car loans, and other borrowing.
Values update automatically whenever you add transactions or valuations. There is nothing to recalculate by hand.
How it is organized
The app is split into sections, reached from the sidebar (on desktop) or the bottom bar (on mobile). The Overview is the starting point: it shows your net worth, the evolution charts, and your largest positions. From there, the Net worth section groups the pages where you manage each part: Accounts, Investments, Property, and Credits. Transactions bring together the list of bank transactions, your recurring commitments, and your yearly statement, while Calculators offer financial simulators such as compound interest, FIRE, and taxes. The logic is always the same: every section feeds the single net-worth figure you see on the Overview. How your data reaches guito
Your net worth is only current if the data behind it is too. There are three ways to keep it that way, and guito combines them depending on the type of asset:- Automatic sync (open banking). For bank accounts, transactions and balances arrive on their own once you connect the bank; access is always authorized at your own bank. This is the path described in Connect your bank.
- Market quotes. For investments, your portfolio is built from the buys and sells you record, and the market value updates automatically from live quotes.
- Manual entries. For anything that does not sync (property, credits, and accounts without an automatic connection), values are managed by hand and feed the calculation in the same way.
In guito, bank sync is provider-agnostic: you see your institution and an automatic-sync indicator, and access is always authorized at your own bank.
Built for Portugal and Europe
guito is designed for people living in Portugal and across Europe. It supports local instruments such as Portuguese savings certificates (Certificados de Aforro), side by side with international stocks, ETFs, and funds, all in the same portfolio.Bank sync
